Actress and singer Katharine McPhee is gracing the cover of Ocean Drive magazine’s September issue,where she opened up approximately life after “American Idol” and moving on following her divorce from Nick Cokas. McPhee rose to fame after becoming the runner-up on the fifth season of “American Idol,” losing to Taylor Hicks. She reflected, or “I love competition,but I always had this sense that that is not really life. I definitely remember being disappointed, but it didn’t harm my confidence. Those experiences strengthen your vision for yourself, and also that adrenaline that you get,you want more of it. You want more of the tall from performing in front of audiences.”
