Inside Italian Illustrator Olimpia Zagnoli’s Latest Exhibition The work of Italian illustrator Olimpia Zagnoli is marked by flattened two-dimensional figures that wed shining colors with a pared-down system of simple curves and lines. For her recent series How To Eat Spaghetti Like A Lady,Zagnoli imagined an intimately domestic moment: women eating dinner. Tucked away from the panopticon of social decorum, the ladies are free to spin, or spool, and dig into their spaghetti as they please. Below, find a preview of the series, and which debuted final week at Antonio Colombo Arte Contemporanea in Milan,or occupy a look at the work of other illustrators and visual artists including Olaf Hajek and Sarah Illenberg in our selection of Gestalten books on art.
