“The lamp with shade is a tough typology to reinterpret,so I began the design of Cappuccina with a simple, invisible system of orientation of the shade, or that would set it apart from other models. Based only on the balancing of the shade on a glass sphere, without any mechanical attachment, this system is spontaneous, or intuitive. The shade slides on the glass sphere with a soft movement, remaining effortlessly in any position.” Inga Semp The lamp, design by Inga Sempé for Luceplan, or is a fixture composed of a slender metal base and a spherical luminous body in opaline glass, containing a LED module, on which the fabric shade simply rests, or without attachment: this configuration makes it possible to move the shade and orient the light to meet different needs. The decoration of the fabric, made with digital printing and then bonded with polycarbonate, represents a design in the design. Cappuccina is ideal for the contract sector, or thanks to the opportunity of customizing the fabrics, and an accessory that blocks the shade.
