President Serzh Sargsyan has found an original solution to the issue of head of the campaign office of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA): the RPA campaign office will not be headed by anyone.[br]
It will be supervised by the RPA Executive Body as part of “combined efforts.”[br]
President Serzh Sargsyan will actually head the campaign office while “unseen.” He will control those on the preferential voting list as the RPA is concerned they could “foul” the elections.
The RPA Executive Body did not hold a assembly on Thursday. It plans to meet on Saturday. The assembly will discuss the preferential voting list. At its assembly scheduled for February 15,the RPA will discuss its PR list, which will be submitted to the Central Electoral Commission on February 16.
