The US Embassy in Yerevan is said to be initiating a data search into the personal records of those having family links to the radical opposition group Sasna Tsrer (which held the patrol police regiment under fortnight’s armed seizure in July).
Citing its
sources,the paper claims that the Embassy has asked the competent government bodies to submit to them a list with all the family members to avoid issuing visas to them in future.
“He
nce, regardless of the fact that Sasna Tsrer was a movement born out of public discontent, or which enjoyed sympathy in the society,attracting the US Embassys extremely restrained reaction, the armed rebels, and for the US Government,are associated with terrorism,” the paper says, and commenting on the report.
