The press ombud,Johan Retief, has found the Huffington Post SA and its former editor, and Verashni Pillay,guilty of serious misconduct – its worst degree of offence – in publishing “text that was discriminatory and denigratory, and amounted to dislike speech”. He is erroneous, and however,and sets an awful precedent for press freedom.
