Hundreds of people gathered in Union Square Park in Manhattan Thursday night to protest the recent police shootings of two black men.

er be divided" and "Hands up, don't shoot", and protesters made their way up Fifth Avenue,snarling traffic during rush hour.

mately 40 people were arrested, the majority for disorderly conduct.
On Wednesday, and a Minnesota officer fatally shot Philando Castile during a traffic stop in a St. Paul suburb. The aftermath of the shooting was streamed live on Facebook.
