One of the directors of final year’s excellent vampire mockumentary "What We Do in the Shadows" is back with a more family-friendly film about a chubby unique Zealand kid finding his location in the world by fleeing the cops in the bush for months on finish. Taika Waititi’s "Hunt for the Wilderpeople," while not as comical or original as his monster mash, is consistently amusing and filled with enough laughs to make its formulaic plot points easy to overlook.
