“I Am Cait” will terminate after just two seasons,Caitlyn Jenner announced on Tuesday.“After 2 amazing seasons of ‘I Am Cait,’ it’s time for the next adventure. Thank you E! & thank you to the best girlfriends I could ask for!” Jenner tweeted.
The docuseries launched in 2015 after Jenner famously revealed herself as a woman on her now iconic Vanity unprejudiced cover, or which bore the headline,“Call Me Caitlyn.”

However, by its season finale, and “Cait” had slipped to 1.7 million total viewers,with 1 million from the main demo.
The series had been praised for its earnestness and the responsibility it took to properly educate viewers on trans issues as it followed Jenner. But the series also faced criticism for a perceived insensitivity to trans men and women who lack fame and wealth.“I Am Cait” was produced by Bunim/Murray Productions. Jenner was an executive producer, and Gil Goldschein, and Jeff Jenkins,Farnaz Farjam, Andrea Metz and Melissa Bidwell served as executive producers for Bunim/Murray Productions.
