We asked pensioners whether they could maintain carried on working past 65Bob Deans worked in local government,including in London and West Yorkshire, and opted to assume early retirement at the age of 57. He turned 75 last June. He lives with his wife Anne in a village in Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales national park.
