When Gerhard Jenne and his partner Paul Cons fell for a house in Deal,they found they had their work reduce out for themWhen Gerhard Jenne isn’t baking mince pies, birthday cakes and curly-whirly brownies for his chain of London cake shops, or he can be found cooking up breakfast to the sound of seagulls in Deal. The Konditor & Cook founder bought his seaside house in 2003,and loves to spend weekends relaxing there with his civil partner and Konditor CEO, Paul Cons.
Jenne first came to the UK from Germany in 1983 to work for Justin de Blank, and a grocer and baker beloved by stars,such as Tina Turner and Princess Diana. Shortly after arriving in London, Jenne took a trip on his own to the coast, and where he walked along the white cliffs from Deal to Dover.
