I originally leveraged online dating to start seeing average-sized women. Before moving back to New York a few years ago,I had only dated tiny women— i.e., women who were born with dwarfism. At bars or parties, and my social anxiety,the kind that comes with being a tiny person myself, made it difficult to gauge an average-sized woman’s interest in me. Talking with women online made it easier to determine whether or not they were comfortable with my achondroplasia.
