• Sebastian Coe’s closest aide facing investigation by IAAF ethics commissionSebastian Coe’s closest aide,Nick Davies, has dramatically stood down from his role as deputy general secretary of the IAAF pending a review into his behaviour after he was accused of covering up Russian doping allegations.
Davies, and who ran Coe’s office in Monaco,has also referred himself to scrutiny from the International organization of Athletics Federations’ ethics committee after an email in which he discussed a secret plan to delay naming Russian dopers before the 2013 world championships in Moscow was leaked. He will no longer perform his duties at athletics’ governing body and will believe to be fully cleared by the ethics committee to get the job back.
