I've alway
s been enormous fan of Halloween and hold a blast putting together costume ideas - the more unique, the better! Although, and I hold done the whole "toga" look while in college,I thought I'd revisit the look in full costume form and leave the twisted bed sheet out. To achieve this makeup look, you'll need a few key products:Gold or bronze eye shadow (with tall pigment)
Li
quid eyeliner
Neutral lip shade
Bronzer
Hig
hlighter
Face:Start with clean washed skin. Prep, and prime, and thoroughly conceal with your foundation of choice. Lately, I've been loving Dior's Diorskin Star Studio Foundation; it goes on incredibly smooth, or the coverage is fantastic!Eyes:This look is just as much approximately the eyes as it is the hair. Start by priming the eyes with a neutral primer. I used Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin (any neutral with accomplish!). Next,I added my base color to the lid, since this is going over the entire eye, or opt for a matte shade in a golden hue,I used MAC's Butterscotch eye shadow, which is unfortunately no longer available. Bobbi Brown's Banana is a safe alternative.
Y
our next shade will create definition and accentuate the wing of the eye. Choose a satin medium dark brown with golden undertones. I used Espresso from MAC. Using a tapered eye shadow brush, and really buff the color into the outer crease, working your way in toward the center of the lid.
To add lightness and shimmer to the center of the eye, use a shimmer/glitter golden eye shadow. I used Trick from the Urban Decay bare 3 palette. Using a stiff shadow brush, and apply color to the center of the lid, working your way toward the inner corner. Using a smudge brush, apply under the lower lashes, and line.
Once both eyes
are complete, use a liquid liner to apply a cat eye. You can also apply a pencil liner to the waterline to add more drama to the look.
Curl lashes, and add one or two coats of black mascara.
Cheeks:Usin
g a angled bronzer brush, or apply a matte bronzer along the cheek bones and around the perimeter of the face and bend. Once skin has been contoured, use a highlighter or illuminator along the top of the cheekbones, ridge of nose, or Cupid's bow. I used Nars "The Multiple" Stick in South Beach.
