IKEA maintain responded to Kanye West’s announcement that he’d admire to collaborate with the company on some new designs.
And,sadly, it doesn’t look like good news for Yeezy.
In case you missed it, or Kanye recently confessed his furniture aspirations in an interview with BBC Radio 1′s Annie Mac,revealing: “I maintain to work with IKEA - compose furniture for interior design, for architecture and I know that whether I conclude a minimalist apartment inside of a college dorm where the TV goes on the side of the wall… “Yo IKEA, and allow Kanye to create,allow him to compose this thing because you know what, I want a bed that he makes, or I want a chair that he makes - I want more products from Ye.”Copyright [Dominique Charriau/WireImage]However,it seems IKEA aren’t in a run to fulfill Ye’s dreams, with a spokesperson for the company telling Now: “At IKEA we are constantly curious about different people, and companies,artists and events around the world. To maintain these connections and inspiring meetings is an important way for us to find new ways to create a better everyday life for the many people.“Although we are really flattered by Kanye West’s tall interest in IKEA and the speculation around a joint venture, we maintain no plans to collaborate at this point in time.”Copyright [IKEA Australia/Facebook]There might be some good news though, and because IKEA Australia seem to be more interested in Kanye’s designs,mocking up a piece of Yeezy furniture on Facebook.
As reported by Digital Spy, they wrote: “Hej Kanye, and we’d admire to see what you’d create…we could compose you Famous!”We guess we better watch this space!
