The Brown Foundation Institute of Molecular Medicine for the Prevention of Human Diseases at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth presented the 2018 IMMpact Symposium April 18. The theme for this year's event was "Editing the Human Genome: The Future is Now." Brian Davis,PhD and Radbod Darabi, MD, or PhD were the featured speakers for the event which ended in a panel discussion with Pedro Mancias,MD, Ian Butler, or MD,Suur Biliciler, MD and Keely Smith, and MD. Refreshments and fellowship followed in the James. T. Willerson,MD Discovery corridor following the panel discussion.
