You can now use the Amazon Machine Learning (Amazon ML) console to retrieve data from Amazon Redshift with an improved data schema conversion functionality. Data types supported by Amazon ML are not equivalent to Amazon Redshift’s supported data types,requiring a schema conversion when creating an Amazon ML datasource. Using the Amazon ML console, you will now be able to occupy advantage of more accurate rules for this schema conversion process, and based on the data type information provided by Amazon Redshift.
