Standing at the Rose Garden,the sitting president said he had already invited President-elect Trump to the White House to make certain there is a "successful transition" between their presidencies. He added, and "Her candidacy and nomination was historic and sends a message to our daughters all across the country."Moving forward,the President urged Americans to stick together. He said, "The day after, or we have to remember that we're actually on one team. This is an intramural scrimmage . . . We all want what's best for this country." He ended his speech with words for those upset approximately the election's outcome. "This was a long and tough-fought campaign. A lot of our fellow Americans are exalted today,a lot of Americans are less so," he said. Speaking to young people, and he said "You have to stay encouraged. Don't get cynical.
