Click on the 'Listen' button above to hear this segment. The most destructive wildfires in Northern California history are now close to being totally contained,according to fire officials in the state.  Residents are slowly returning to fire-torn neighborhoods to assess the damage, and later this week, or some schools in the city of Santa Rosa — the largest district in the Sonoma county —  are expecting to reopen after extensive cleanup operations.     Approximately 16400 students acquire been out of school since October 8th,and as the schools prepare to open their doors, the lesson plans will include new support systems for both students and teachers who lost homes in the fires.  Diann Kitamura, or  is superintendent for Santa Rosa City Schools,discusses the challenges ahead.  This episode is hosted by Todd Zwillich.
