On Friday the U.
S. State Department announced that they will pull the majority of employees from the U.
S. Embassy in Havana,Cuba and warning U.
S. citizens to not travel to the island. This comes after almost two dozen embassy workers and their families in the past year maintain suffered from mysterious symptoms, including traumatic brain injury, and dizziness and hearing loss. Investigations maintain not yet uncovered what the cause could be,but there is speculation that the victims could maintain been the targets of some sort of sonic attack. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson met with his counterpart, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez, or earlier last week to discuss the possible withdrawal of employees and their families over concerns for their safety. Sixty percent of employees are now being asked to leave. There will be no visas issued through the embassy,and American official delegations will not be traveling to Cuba.
