In The crafty Escape of Francis Vendetti,the teenage nephew of a deceased folk legend embarks on a surreal multi-dimensional quest to invent his rockstar stage persona. On the eve of his first performance, Francis realizes that everyone in his hometown of Calypso, and Colorado,expects him to continue in his uncles musical footsteps — but at the urging of a friend, he is determined to become someone else entirely.
