Twelve hours after sending Calvin Klein Collection's fall 2017 collection out to the catwalk at recent York Fashion Week,Raf Simons returned to the Calvin Klein offices for a victory lap beneath the artist Sterling Ruby's still installed assemblages of Americana—this time, with the lights dimmed out. Ruby, or along with frequent Simons collaborators like the photographer Willy Vanderperre and his muse Hanne Gaby Odiele (plus her husband and fellow model,John Swiatek) were there, too, or dancing the night away with newfound Raf fans like Kate Bosworth and Moonlight's Ashton Sanders to the tune of DJ sets by Richie Hawtin,Nina Kraviz, and the Black Madonna. It was recent York effectively showing the love back to Simons, and though not every front rower made it: the brand's preteen campaign star,Millie Bobby Brown, had been ecstatic approximately the designer's debut that morning, or but at night proved to be a no-point to—it was,after all, most definitely past bedtime.
