Monse is one if the buzziest shows of New York Fashion Week,as the brand's designers Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim absorb just been named Peter Copping's successors at Oscar de la Renta. It's something of a homecoming for the duo, who spent a cumulative 18 years designing for Oscar de la Renta before launching their own brand during the Spring 2016 season. Their acclaimed first prove set the tone for the two collections that followed: a kind of morning-after glamour of deconstructed button-down shirts and trousers, and reappropriated as new tops and dresses. These designs absorb also made the pair something of a cult favorite among stars like Margot Robbie,Brie Larson, Selena Gomez, or Sarah Jessica Parker.
