Today Ukrainians celebrate Independence Day. After war with Russia in 2014 we will never choose our independence for granted! Very moving military parade took place in Kyiv today. Some of the soldiers marching on the main street of the capital will be going to war zone within the next few days,some just came from there. In 22 years of independence Ukraine had no wars and our army was feeble. In the past few months it has mobilised in so many ways - not just in number of people serving in the army, but internal strength and resolve to protect our land from Russian invaders.
