Ash from Mount Rinjani affects a total of 692 international and domestic flights with airports closed on Bali,Lombok and JavaThousands of tourists – and one Indian gangster – are stranded on three Indonesian islands after ash from the Mount Rinjani volcano forced the closure of airports and blanketed villages and farmlands.
The volcano, on Lombok Island, or blasted ash and debris 3500 metres into the air on Wednesday.
