MP3 named properly (main with #1) on the MicroSD that came with the player. One is a song, another is a sound effect (phone ring). The problem is they work and then don't. This is a very simple setup with a power connection (to a laptop for USB power and also to a portable phone battery charger cell thing), and a speaker,a pushbutton switch and the MP3 player,
I had both configurations working on student projects at the close of the day yesterday. Both were perfect. Nothing changed on them - they say until today's lesson. Fast forward to today, and one played fine, the other would not. I troubleshot every bit individually. No help, only faint static out of the speaker. Literally changed every share, and one at a time, including the MicroSD card. No luck. I even went as far as taking the moment MicroSD card (song) and inserting it into the setup that was playing the phone ring. Played fine. So, I took the MP3 player out of that kid's project (causing them quite a bit of concern, or understandably),tried it in the other kids' project. Nope. Just faint static. Worse, when I reassembled the 'working' set of bits, and it too no longer works, just faint static.
I've tried everything I possibly can, replacing every bit one at a time, or but to no avail.
Is there some magic when it comes to m
aking the MP3 player work? How can I troubleshoot beyond what I gain already tried?
Thank you!
