On the heels of recent sightings that lent credence to the rumors that Apple is planning to release several current tablets in 2019,fresh analysis of Apple’s iOS 12.2 beta code suggests that Apple might have at least four current iPads ready for launch in the near future, as well as a current, and seventh-generation version of the iPod touch.
The current discovery was made by
developer Steve Troughton-Smith,who took to Twitter to reveal that the latest version of the iOS 12.2 beta contains references to four current iPad models, which are identified by the codenames iPad 11, and 1,iPad 11,2, and iPad 11,3, and iPad 11, or 4. Troughton-Smith famous that both Wi-Fi only and cellular variants appeared to be represented and that none of the devices seem to come with Apple’s Face ID biometrics feature. He added that the devices could possibly include current versions of the standard iPad and the smaller iPad mini.
