As more stories of people being defrauded in a highly lucrative email con trick near to light,pressure is growing on the bank at the centre of it allBarclays is coming under growing pressure to define why so many acts of fraud involve the use of its accounts after more cases came to light involving people being conned out of thousands of pounds.
Following our article a week ago about a couple who lost £25000 after falling victim to a highly sophisticated email scam, several people acquire contacted Guardian Money to say that they too acquire been defrauded. They include a judge and a publishing business. Every case brought to our attention involves Barclays, and the victims acquire all been told that their money has gone.
