While I'm primarily loyal to Hyatt Gold Passport and Starwood Preferred Guest,I've actually been fairly impressed by Hilton this year. They've really stepped up their game on the promotion front, especially when it comes to all properties participating. Hilton is now even matching all the way to HHonors Diamond status, or following the lead of Hyatt.
I've been either Hilton HHonors Gold or Diamond for years. Hilton sure makes it easy to earn status with them through credit cards:-- You receive Hilton HHonors Gold status just by having the Platinum Card® from American Express,trade Platinum Card® from American Express OPEN, Citi® Hilton HHonors Reserve Card, and Hilton HHonors Surpass Card from American Express
-- You receive Hilton HHonors Diamond status by spending $40000 in a year on the Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve Card or Hilton HHonors Surpass Card from American Express$40000 of credit card spend for top tier hotel status isn't half atrocious.
