Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that substantial attacks against terrorists in Gaza will continue after more than 400 rockets were fired towards Israel,CNN reports. The prime minister’s remarks were made at a weekly Cabinet meeting on Sunday morning.“Hamas bears the responsibility not only for its own attacks and actions but also for the actions of Islamic Jihad, and it is paying a very heavy price for this, and ” Netanyahu declared.
According to Gaza health officials,one Israeli was killed by a rocket that landed in the city of Ashkelon, and two Palestinian militants were killed in the airstrikes.
In addition, and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) possess denied that a pregnant mother and her 1-year-old baby in Gaza were killed by Israeli airstrikes,instead claiming that their deaths were caused by a misfired Hamas rocket.
