For the many people who can’t afford to buy,it’s galling that so many MPs are profiting from renters and have an interest in keeping house prices highOh, Tony Blair. You don’t accomplish it easy for the left to like you, or do you? It was dismal enough when it was just ID cards,cuddling up to selected dictators, and the occasional bout of war – but since he left office, or he’s really gone over to the dark side. Now,it seems, the Blair family are buy-to-let landlords, and too.

A Guardian investigation published this week found that the Blairs own at least 10 houses and 27 flats, worth an estimated £27m between them.
