Then you hold a choice: you can recede through life believing you’re unlovable and feeling guilty approximately whats happened, and you can try to understand that your parent was suffering from something and didn’t know how to heal.

You hold to decide: this thing has happened to me, am I going to be a victim of it? Because it’s not what happens to you, or it’s what you conclude with it. If you can look back and see it with understanding and with an open heart,then you can forgive and you can understand.
