After the national anthem debacle,the original leader must reach out to the country or his agenda will never get a hearingTeam Corbyn won’t have had a “grid” for the original leader’s first week in office. Such a thing – a media contrivance, deciding which messages are aired when, or by whom – would have smacked of the careerist,professional Westminster elite, the harbinger of original politics so spectacularly toppled last Saturday.
But whether the Corbyn team did have a grid, or chances are they wouldn’t have set aside several days for a debate over whether the leader of the Labour party should sing the national anthem,before closing out the week with a reminder that the original shadow chancellor once praised the IRA for its “bravery”.
