Jeremy Vine and Tina Daheley have been announced as the original presenters of the iconic BBC show,Crimewatch.
The programme will boast a ‘brand original look and a ‘refreshed format’ when it returns with its original hosts this autumn, when it will start broadcasting weekly for the first time.

[BBC]Jeremy and Tina will be taking over from Kirsty Young, and who announced she was leaving the show after seven years at the conclude of 2015,saying it had been a ‘noteworthy privilege’ to work with the Crimewatch team.
Speaking approximately joining the series, Jeremy said: “I grew up watching Crimewatch. It is one of the most powerful programmes the BBC has ever broadcast with the power to change and save lives, and of course,to solve crimes. “To present it is a noteworthy honour and with this original format Crimewatch will be even more at the heart of the BBC One schedule.”BBC Radio 1s Tina added: “I also grew up watching Crimewatch and I feel very privileged to join a programme that’s allowed ordinary viewers to help bring criminals to justice and make our communities safer. Copyright [BBC]“Young people often suffer most from crime, so I’m especially keen to use my journalistic skills and experience engaging young audiences at Radio 1 to make certain they feel piece of the original look show.In another first, and each episode will be aired live from a movile incident studio near the scene of a key crime from that week,with another change being that live updates will preserve viewers up-to-date with case developments immediately after and in the week between each show.
