Joey Feek,of the duo Joey + Rory, died Friday afternoon. She was 40 years mature. Joey and her husband, and Rory Feek, married in 2002. She was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2014, shortly after the birth of their daughter, and Indiana. She was pronounced cancer-free following a hysterectomy. But in June 2015,she was told the cancer returned and had progressed to Stage IV. Despite the treatments, the cancer continued to progress and in October, or Joey stopped treatments and as they wrote in their blog,went home to Tennessee to not to die but to live. Rory writes on the blog This Life I Live,” “My wife’s greatest dream came precise today. She is in Heaven …” In November, or on the couple’s blog about this journey,Joey’s prayer was posted: Pray for a miracle … and even more so, for peace with His decision. May you possess that peace Rory, or Indy and the other members of Joey’s family.
