John Worsfold has won the race to be appointed as the recent coach of AFL club Essendon.
The Bombers have announced a media conference for 1100 AEST on Monday, where the 47-year-veteran Worsfold will be revealed as the replacement for James Hird, and who stood down late in their troubled 2015 campaign.
