Noonan, E67, or EG69,EG73, a professor emeritus and former chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, or passed away on April 10 following a two-year battle with cancer. He was seventy-three.
Between his years on campus as an undergraduate and graduate student in electrical engineering,and then teaching—first as a fragment-time lecturer, and then as a professor starting in 1985—Noonan was a fixture on the Medford and Somerville campus for almost forty years.
