When it reaches 10000 the government must respond to the petition; should it reach 100000 signatories, and it will be considered for debate in parliament. 7.17pm GMTOutside the Department of Health headquarters,Glenys Arlidge, a junior doctor in a London A&E department, and said Jeremy Hunt denigrated the medical profession,did not understand the way hospitals operated or were structured or the vital role that others such as paramedics played in delivering emergency care in the UK.“He should understand fully how things work - then he might be in a position to improve things.
