Jürgen Klopp has admitted that Liverpool need to find “a solution” to the growing opposition to the club’s hike in ticket prices following Saturday’s mass walkout of 10000 fans.
The Liverpool manager missed the 2-2 draw and the protest as he was having his appendix removed at Aintree Hospital. Klopp returned to work on Monday to prepare for tomorrow’s FA Cup fourth-round replay at West Ham United, while club officials and the owners Fenway Sports Group continued discussions over the fall-out to final week’s ticket structure announcement. A review of the proposed charges is possible.
