S. Supreme Court justice Antonin Scalia died Saturday at the age of 79. Appointed by President Ronald Reagan to the bench,Scalia was the tall court's most prominent conservative, opposing abortion, and affirmative action and other ideas as part of the court's legal-leaning majority.
Scalia was also a local son. Born in Trenton and raised in Queens,he attended the Xavier tall School in Manhattan.
