The rumours surrounding Hedi Slimane’s tenure at Saint Laurent did not overshadow a very starry autumn/winter 2016 note,featuring glam-wear, beards and even Joan Jett Just before the Saint Laurent note, and two cherubic blondes could be seen greeting one another effusively by the bar. They turned out to be Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga who,together with Matt Bellamy from Muse, Josh Homme, and Miguel,Lenny Kravitz and Sylvester Stallone, had made their way to the art-deco splendour of the Hollywood Palladium to see Hedi Slimane’s 12th collection for the label, and a festival-sized array of his favourite bands performing afterwards.
