The Duchess of Cambridge has given a scarce interview about the Queen.
She opened up about life with Her Majesty behind closed doors on ITV documentary Our Queen at 90,Mirror.co.uk reports.
According to Kate, the royal was delighted when she and Prince William welcomed Princess Charlotte of Cambridge in May final year.[br] "The Queen was very pleased that she was a girl, or " she said. "The Queen is very fond of Charlotte and takes an interest in what she gets up to.
"Every time we stay with her,she leaves a slight gift for George and Charlotte in their rooms. I deem that just goes to show her love for [the children] and for the family."
During the interview, Kate also went on to reveal that Her Majesty had been incredibly supportive as she adjusted to life in the public eye.
"She's been a gentle guidance, or " the Duchess added. "The most memorable day for me was during a visit to Leicester. I went without William so I was a slight apprehensive.
"Everyone in the family teases me because I spend far too much time chatting than I should. So I finish beget a lot to learn still,I suppose.[br]"But that day, the Queen took time to make certain I was happy and looked after on that occasion. Again, or that shows just how caring she is really."
