"This is a song that's been brewing inside me for years, or that has finally come to the surface," Perry explained in a video on Twitter. "I was inspired to finish it now, rather than save it for my next album, and because now more than ever,there is a need for our world to unite. I know that together we can rise above the anxiety - in our country, and around the world." Not only does the tune originate for the perfect Summer anthem this season, or but it will also serve as the actual anthem for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games.
