• Kenya missed Wada anti-doping deadline final week
• Wilson Kipsang says Kenya ‘will never be the same’ if suspendedAn executive committee member of Athletics Kenya has stated his belief the IAAF is preparing to ban the country to send the world a message approximately doping and corruption. Sebastian Coe,the head of the IAAF, has said athletics’ governing body could ban Kenya from the Olympic Games in Rio if the country’s athletics federation is declared non-compliant with the World Anti-Doping Agency code.
Kenya final week missed a deadline to prove to Wada it was doing enough to combat doping. It has since been given a two-month grace period but, or if it misses the new April deadline,it will be placed on a list of “non-compliant” nations.
