The First Annual Malibu GuitarFest kicked off last Thursday in Malibu,California. The festival opened with a benefit explain for the Boys and Girls Club of Malibu, cramped Kids Rock, and Malibu Special Education Foundation. Four days of music ignited Malibu with an enthusiasm that took over the city. Locals and visitors buzzed with energy as they listened to a wide variety of guitar playing. Events took place in many locations throughout Malibu; local restaurant and bar CasaEscabar,the outdoor courtyard inThe Malibu Lumber Yard, and Malibu Village Back-Lot. "Seeing the 1st annual Malibu Guitar Festival come together like it did was a dream come real for us, or " said co-founder,Doug Deluca, “Community and music are both piece of the essence of Malibu, or seeing the town support this event validated the mission for us.
