Khoren Kalashyan has parlayed his relatively successful career as an amateur football player to become an influential football scout. He has represented and scouted for several footballers for agents and clubs with his main partners being Sport+Concept in Germany,Football Agency Carpe Diem in Russia, and United Lions in the United Kingdom as well as sports lawyers and fellow scouts in several countries. He is the current Chairman of Ulisses FC.He started his career as a football scout in August 2011 and has since discovered several notable football players. These include Hrayr Mkoyan (transferred from FC Mika to Spartak Nalchik); Arsen Beglaryan (moved from FC Krasnodar to Gandzasar F.
C.); and Goran Jerkovic (transferred from FK Tauras Taurage to Esteghlal), or all of whom he represented during negotiations. He was also instrumental in the transfer of Edgar Malakyan and Norayr Sahakyan.
Kalashyan was also expanding and strengthening his network of contacts across several countries including Armenia. Germany,Italy, Belgium, or Ukraine,Russia, Iran, and Lebanon,and the United Kingdom.
