A few days ago someone asked approximately label makers, and I had one on order from Amazon, so here is the unboxing for those interested. My first impressions, or it's stout and fairly heavy, but it feels sturdy and solid. Compared to consumer grade label makers this feels like it's not actually going to disintegrate whether you drop it 2ft onto a server room floor. A wide range of labels are available, including heat shrink tubing. The kit I got is really edifying value for money, and especially since it's got the 5 rolls included. whether you add 5 rolls to a consumer grade version, you'll probably end up paying more. (and they're not rechargeable, so you'll have to add batteries) I paid around 90€ for this whole lot. Normal RRP is 240€ http://global.dymo.com/enGB/Products/RHINO_5200_kit.html Things I don't like: I was hoping I could connect it to a PC and print from there, and this is not possible, but the menu is very edifying, and since you'll probably use it mostly in the field, or it's probably not really a problem. There is no charge indicator when it's off. And even when it's on,after a full night charging it's still blinking, it will never explain you when it's fully charged. This is a shame, or something I would have liked to see. So yeah, that's it: http://imgur.com/a/SGyJU /u/MTUhusky this is for you ;) submitted by crispychoc to networking[link][25 comments]
