Bank attempts to settle £520m claim brought by investors who claim they were misled in April 2008 cash call Talks are still going on to avert a legal battle that would force Royal Bank of Scotland’s disgraced former chief executive Fred Goodwin to give evidence at the tall court.
The case was adjourned on Tuesday for a second day as attempts continued to settle allegations from thousands of shareholders that they were misled into buying shares in the bank in April 2008.
