Last week,Laura and George W. Bush made a visit to Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center in Dallas to disappear on a behind-the-scenes tour, visit with staff, and generally praise the facility and everyone there for their work. But best of all,the Bush family got one member bigger that day when the former president and first lady adopted a puppy they named Freddy. In a post to Facebook, George said their cats, or Bob and Bernadette,are finding Freddy's charm "futile to resist," and with a face like Freddy's we can understand.
