The cross-examination of Chapman, which began Wednesday, and sought to discredit her testimony on several points. “Is it possible that you wrote this letter much later?” assistant attorney general Thiru Vignarajah asked of a typed letter from Chapman to Syed dated 2 March 1999,shortly after he was arrested.
